Blockhouse Bay

Owners brief was to remove the existing weatherboard house to utilise the full site and design a new contemporary home for a family with three growing boys. The result was a large 400m2 home designed by multi award winning architect, Alan Shanahan. Three levels with great flow and lots of room for teenagers, band practice and tree houses.

 

 

Remuera 1

This is a complex, three level split high spec architectural house on a very steep site with tight constraints including geotechnical and structural issues. Clients have been caught out with a leaky home in the past and have gone for an absolute weather tight solution utilising steel framing and Hebel Flooring.

Mangere Bridge

Following our bronze award in 2008, in 2009 we claimed the Registered Master Builder House of the Year silver award with this project, a result we are very satisfied with. The dwelling is positioned with a great Manukau Harbour outlook. The existing family home has had to be demolished to make room for a larger home to house a family with two teenage boys. The building site is underlain by rock so innovative design was required for an efficient, more cost effective foundation system.
