Keola Homes has a great community involvement and is proud to support the following charities:
The Starship Foundation
A charity set up to provide additional equipment, support and help to patients, their families and staff – as an extra to state funding.
This is only possible through the generosity of people like you and the strength of your support of Starship Children’s Hospital and what the hospital represents.
World Vision
Gives an opportunity to every New Zealand household to be involved in a child-focused work that touches millions of people each year in its quest to end poverty, fight hunger and transform lives.
Greenpeace
Stands for positive change through action. They defend the natural world and promote peace.
As a global organisation, Greenpeace focuses on the most crucial worldwide threats to our planet’s biodiversity and environment.
Koru Care
Since 1983, Koru Care has been working to bring a little bit of joy into the lives of children with terminal illness or permanent disabilities. During those years, they have helped more than 10,000 young people and their families.
Sometimes they help by whisking children away from their less-than-perfect lives for a few days, to a fantasy destination far, far away. Other times they provide practical assistance, such as education.
Radio Lollipop
Imagine you’re a child in hospital. You’re sick and/or hurt…surrounded by unfamiliar objects and strangers feeling confused and afraid.
For the kids, Radio Lollipop is just a heap of fun!
Radio Lollipop’s trained volunteers have a unique entertainment programme aimed at easing children’s feelings and fears of loneliness and pain.

Technology is great, but it does come with its fair share of bugs. If there’s ANYTHING on this website that is bugging you (except my picture of course… um I’m sort of stuck with that), please let me know immediately.
