This Distribution Centre project involved the refurbishment and upgrade of an existing facility in Auckland, New Zealand. The project was focused on optimising the centre’s office spaces in preparation for future tenancy opportunities. Our team was responsible for delivering a flexible, compliant, and modern working environment.
As part of the works, two new offices and a meeting room were constructed. Structural design and certification were also critical components of the project, with full engineering services provided, including the integration of Tracklok seismic restraint systems to ensure the safety and compliance of the glass partitions.
In addition to the office and meeting spaces, preparations were made for a kitchen and breakout area, with allowances included for the main kitchen and a kitchen island. Service upgrades were a significant part of the project scope. Electrical systems, fire protection, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting were all improved to meet current standards. HVAC systems were designed and installed, including seismic design considerations.
Throughout the project, coordination with consultants was essential. We worked closely with the appointed architect, structural engineers, HVAC designers, and fire consultants to ensure a seamless delivery. The final result is a modern, professional space that offers flexibility for future tenants, improves the overall function of the distribution centre, and meets all compliance requirements.
