Mt Eden Normal Primary School has recently completed a series of upgrades and renovations designed to modernise its facilities, improve safety, and create a more comfortable and inspiring learning environment for students and staff. The project focused on revitalising three classrooms in the original teaching block, alongside essential infrastructure improvements.
Three classrooms received a comprehensive makeover, including new wall linings, updated flooring, and a fresh coat of paint. These changes not only enhance the visual appeal of the spaces but also create a brighter, more welcoming atmosphere for teaching and learning.
Surface-mounted services, such as electrical wiring and plumbing, were rerouted into the walls, creating a cleaner and more streamlined look. Additionally, the school’s radiators were carefully removed, refurbished with a fresh coat of paint, and reinstalled, ensuring efficient heating while maintaining the building’s character.
Extensive asbestos removal was carried out. This critical step ensures a hazard-free environment for students, staff, and visitors.
