Mt Roskill PRIMARY School

38 Frost Road Auckland

Mt Roskill Primary School needed significant roofing work to fix long-standing watertightness issues and bring the buildings up to standard. The focus was on practical, cost-effective solutions that would last, without unnecessary extras.

Two blocks were completely reroofed, including fixing an underpitched DD400 roof that had been causing issues. Skylights that had been prone to leaks were removed and replaced with new ones, properly flashed to prevent future problems. Around the school, clearlite roofing was swapped out for trafficable Webglass where it made sense, improving safety and durability without overextending the budget. Spouting was also replaced where needed to keep water flowing correctly and reduce maintenance down the line.

This project is a great example of school work done where it's needed and not excessive, focusing on fixing key issues, improving long-term performance, and keeping costs under control. Now, the school has a modern, watertight roofing system without unnecessary upgrades, ensuring a practical, lasting solution for staff and students.
