Classroom and Library Upgrades:

Classrooms: Ten classrooms were upgraded with modern acoustic wall linings to absorb reflected sound, improving sound quality. New flooring was installed for durability and aesthetics, and fresh paint finishes were applied to create a vibrant and engaging learning atmosphere.

Library: The large library received similar upgrades, including new acoustic wall linings, flooring, and paint finishes. Some timber joinery was replaced with durable, low-maintenance aluminium to enhance the longevity of the fittings. Additionally, new breakout spaces were created to provide flexible learning and collaboration areas for students.

Toilet Facilities Upgrade:

Replacement: Fifteen toilets were replaced, including the installation of new flooring, modern wall linings, durable partitions, and sanitary fixtures.

Specialty Room Conversion:

Arts Room to Food Technology Room: The existing arts room was converted into a fully functional food technology room, requiring extensive plumbing and drainage work, the installation of new cabinetry, and adjustments to accommodate the complex existing structure.

Structural Repairs:

Cladding and Leak Damage: Cladding issues and interior leak damage were addressed and repaired to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the school buildings. These repairs were crucial to maintaining a secure and healthy environment for all school occupants.

Roofs and Flashings: Roofs and flashings were repaired to prevent further water damage and to improve the overall weathertightness of the school buildings.

Throughout the project, value engineering efforts were undertaken to keep the project within budget while maintaining a high standard of finish. This involved carefully evaluating materials, construction methods, and design choices to optimise costs without compromising quality.
